Comprehensive documentation is provided with Cobwebb/PPD both for the PC Designer and the iSeries software. The PC Designer User Manual takes you step-by-step through the document output management process, from beginning to end, asking some of the following questions:
- What type of output do you require? Print (Black & White or Colour), Fax, Email, XML, PDF
- Do you wish to overlay the output with an image / logo?
- Do you wish to produce multiple copies?
- Do you need extra information to be added to your output?
Also included are steps to help you to test your output and then to set up the process to automatically monitor and reformat your output so that you can "set it and forget it".
Sample "Exit Programs" are included if customers should wish to write their own programs to retrieve extra data from their iSeries database. We have also included a number of helpful program tools.
Both the PC Designer and the iSeries application have extensive Help.
